6 And then he went toward[a] the gate whose face was to the east.[b] And he went up by[c] its steps, and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed[d] wide. 7 And the alcove[e] was one reed[f] long and one reed[g] wide,[h] and between the alcoves was five cubits,[i] and the threshold of the gate along the side of the portico of the gate on the inside[j] was one reed.[k] 8 And then he measured the portico of the gate on the inside[l] as one reed.[m]
